• Want extra cash flow? • Currently own property in California? • Convert any single family home into a duplex! • WellNest takes care of: design, permitting, construction and renter placement from our extensive Waitlist • Need maintenance and property management? Don’t worry we cover that too! Sit back and collect! (8%+ CAP, 12%+ Cash on Cash)
Financial Partners and ADU Law
WellNest has partnered with Community Bank of the Bay to create a unique financial product exclusively for the WellNest Pod! Over the past 4 years California ADU law has gone through an extensive overhaul, making it easier and more affordable to build ADU’s. With a strong relationship with CBB we are able to offer our Early Adopters a financing option that is built just for them!
• We’ve partnered with AARP and the Casita Coalition to bring more awareness to ADU’s as an affordable housing option for senior. • AARP did a spotlight video on our innovative business and concept which highlights how our WellNest Pod and WellNest Care have benefited our father and improved his quality of life!
Dublin Vice Mayor and City Council Check out these videos from the Dublin Vice Mayor Shawn Kumagai and City Council member Mike McCorriston! They are amazing advocates for WellNest within our local government and relationships like these will continue to help ease our path toward seamless statewide building plan approvals. (= faster builds for customers!)

FUMBLES AND MISTAKES
We have failed…BAD!
WellNest is operating better than we could have imagined, but all of our founders have had failures before, and we bring all of those lessons to the WellNest Company. Although we’ve learned from all of those mistakes, I’m positive we will experience more. As we experience problems in the future, I will be elaborating on how we’ve adjusted, attacked, and bounced back from those mistakes, and that will be the highlight of this “fumbles” section!
Here’s our 5 step problem solving approach:
1. Set Goals 2. Identify problems, don’t tolerate them 3. Diagnose the root cause 4. Design a plan to fix the root cause 5. Implement that plan!
MEDIA
Our strategic marketing approach is based on informing our target demographic and building a trusting relationship. Our PR, media, and digital marketing is focused on creating content that brings awareness to our customers problems and promotes us as the best solution.
New content updates?
Erin’s Corner is a web series that highlights common issues in senior care, that WellNest has relieved with our WellNest Pod and WellNest Care. This is a great platform to build trust with our customers and provide valuable resources.
WellNest has been in development for over a year and we’ve made some amazing strides and partnerships through 2020 and 2021! Our official sales and marketing launch was April 1, 2021. Below is a high level overview of our road map for the next year. We will continue our monthly updates to give you direct information about our progress and milestone accomplishments!
Road Map 2021 – 2022
Shhh…Great news is coming soon!
We have a couple of major contracts in the works right now!
Currently our largest deal is a 50-100 unit agreement, in partnership with one of the most recognizable names in Silicon Valley. We have been already been selected for the final consideration, a formal interview taking place mid-June! This invite only RFQ would all but guarantee our first 2 years of builds (110 units), which would result in revenues of $16M+.
Our second deal is an outpatient housing and service agreement with one of the largest healthcare organization in the United States, giving us access to 1000’s of additional customers.
Stay on the look out for our June 2021 monthly newsletter to find out how we are growing and what will happen next with these two major deals!
Funding
As a self-funded entity (approx. $210K) we’ve made some amazing strides and accomplishments. We are still currently raising seed round funding ($3.5M) in exchange for investor equity. These funds will ensure we have the inventory and teams to build our first 10 units (60% ready for builds today), and will be sufficient to help get us through our first 2 years of builds (110), acquire customers through year 3 (410 customers) and reach our major milestone of being cash flow positive!
We are always actively seeking pitch opportunities with potential investors and strategic financial partners. We like to keep folks up-to-date on our progress. ALL introductions are welcome and appreciated!
Our recent traction, partnerships, and contracts have been so explosive that we will likely be reducing our current round of fund raising and closing this round soon. Due to high demand and our current contract negotiations, we are confident that, after finalizing terms with one of our current deals, we will be set up up for financial success!
Who is WellNest?
Revolutionizing Senior Long-Term Care
WellNest is a senior long-term care company that provides the most complete long-term care solution. Our WellNest Pod® is a medical suite, a smart ADU designed with intention, for older adults with assisted living needs. Senior long-term care has, for too long, been limited to community facilities, with over worked staff and little to no proximity to loved ones. Our customers can now receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time, and in the manner that best suits our their needs.
Be Well.
Bakari Grant
CO-Founder/CEO, The WellNest Company
